Check it out

To amuse and intrigue..
– Velvet Goldmine
– Rahzel
– It’s only love give it away – Wolfman Tillman
– John Lurie
– antonioni; tarkovsky
– Walter Reade Theater: 165 W. 65th St.; 212-875-5600

Cinema purists have much to love at the Walter Reade, with its 268 comfortable seats, 35-foot-wide screen, film and high-definition-video projectors, and cutting-edge Dolby sound. What really keeps the snobs coming back is the Reade’s programming of hyperobscure foreign and art films (like the Iranian feminist soccer drama Offsides and Chinese filmmaker Tian Zhuangzhuang’s The Go Master). The theater is also the home of the Film Society of Lincoln Center and hosts the annual New York Film Festival, where movies like The Queen and Volver make their American debuts.

Hmmm… I’m not sure if the problem is with me or your blog, but I can’t seem to respond to your individual posts!

Anyway, I saw that you were doing the Master Cleanse and wanted to wish you good luck! I went on the cleanse about three weeks ago. I didn’t last the whole ten days, but I did go a week. I wasn’t going into it with nearly as a healthy lifestyle as you are, and I had never really fasted for any great period of time before. So I was pretty pleased with myself.

I had and have the same doubts as you do about the healthfulness of fasting and if it’s necessary, and I wouldn’t say that my experience was as wonderful as some of the other blogs I read made it out to be. I still thought it was worth doing. I was a little disappointed that at the end of the 10 days that I wasn’t more… I don’t know… eager to be healthy. Everyone kept saying how I would be craving nothing but vegetables and turning up my nose and everything else, but that was most definitely not the case. Oh well.

Anyway, try the Chocolate Smooth Move for the tea. It’s pretty decent, and it works. Good luck!
